So many kumquat recipes!

I've decided that if I ever get custom printed things, like Very Big Deal invitations, I would want Patricia Curtan prints. Or someone very like her. Especially lovely in this book are the Meyer lemon, rhubarb, fig, and nectarine prints.

This book is less vegan-friendly than its vegetable companion, as Waters & Co. seem to like to pair fruits with meats or milks. Since they are in the very simple, French style where each ingredient's properties count, I'm not sure how many of them I can recreate with veg ingredients.

Vocabulary word: noyaux. Aka apricot pits.
