** spoiler alert ** I guess my expectations were a bit too high for this one, thinking it would make up for the fact that there will be no more Harry Potter books. The tales are beautifully told and rather interesting, yet the footnotes tend to get annoying although some of them are quite hilarious. My favorite part was Dumbledore's commentary on "The Fountain of Fair Fortune," where he talks about Lucius Malfoy asking him to remove the tale from the Hogwarts Library: "This exchange marked the beginning of Mr. Malfoy's long campaign to have me removed from my post as Headmaster of Hogwarts, and of mine to have him removed from his position as Lord Voldemort's Favorite Death Eater."-- priceless.
