really liked it
bookshelves: childrens-books, newbery-award, funny-books

Hilarious. Told from Joey's perspective, each chapter is a different summer that he and his sister Mary Alice spend at his Grandma Dowdel's house. Original, engaging and very funny. I highly recommend it to kids and adults alike.
