Why is it that YA fiction tends to have better books on average than fiction written for adults? This is both one of the funniest and emotionally draining books to read. I loved the portrail of Q's group of friends (Ben, Radar and eventually Lacey) and their antics. I laughed so hard throughout parts of this book--more than the recent David Sedaris books have been able to do. I hate to use the cliche but this was a great coming of age story with a great ending. No spoilers here but I can say that I finished this book in a matter of hours so it kept me hooked.
