** spoiler alert ** Definitely a slow burn, which can be fun--if not frustrating. I am not always a fan of the "but I'm straight" self-discovery trope, but this one was sweet. Unlike many books I have seen with this theme, it is clear from the beginning that the "straight" guy doesn't have an issue with gayness, and isn't repressing some inner homophobic feelings. The one he slowly realizes he has fallen for is similarly not trying to tamp down his own feelings just to get what he wants in the bedroom.
