I thought that this was good story, the plot and overall message of this story was very inspiring and I thought it taught a good lesson. The story is about Teddy Anderson a teenager who living in the hood. When his little sister Tina gets shot, the whole Anderson family is torn apart and weeps however Teddy only plans revenge and goes after the gang that had taken his little sister. However when Teddy is forced to mentor twelve-year-old Micah, his views change and he learns as he is also teaching Micah. What I loved about this book was that it related to our age and our time period because its something that happens in this time and something I know about and that I’m informed about in the media. Overall it was great and the only bad part about was maybe the writing style because I thought it was a little hard to understand because it started out being very easy to read almost like a children book but then the style changed and became more confusing.
