really liked it
bookshelves: historical, romance, 13-print-books, zzz-read-2009, 4-more-than-1-edition

For me, this was a very entertaining read. Grace was the proverbial long-suffering companion who knew her place and never expected more than that. I felt so bad for both Jack and Thomas. I didn't want to see Jack forced into something he obviously didn't want and hadn't been prepared for. I also hated to see Thomas lose everything that had been his for his entire life. I'll be looking forward to his story in Mr. Cavendish, I Presume.

Eastofoz This seems to get such mixed reviews. Some people like it and others are really disappointed.

Diane I think Mr. Cavendish, I Presume comes first or maybe they are overlapping. I haven't read The Lost Duke of Wyndham yet but everything in the summary are things I already know from Mr. Cavendish, I Presume.
