really liked it

This was my first C. J. Box book. He usually writes books about a game warden I believe. Many of my high school boys really like his books. I have been told they have a lot of bad language in them. This was not one of his game warden books. He seems to be branching out. It is about a couple who adopts a baby through an open adoption. They find out 9 months later that the biological father did not terminate his rights. He and his father who is a federal judge want the baby back and they give them three weeks to say goodbye. The adoptive parents discover the babies father and grandfather have an ulterior motive for wanting the little girl. They set out to find out what it is so they can keep their baby. WOW!!!! This book is super intense with a lot of violence and bad language (which is totally unnecessary). However, I couldn't seem to put it down!
