liked it

I liked this book and I like Cabrillo as a hero. Another plus: the consequences of the Oregon failing were inventive but not the literal end of the world. My one criticism of this and other Cussler books is that he "tells" too much, instead of just showing. Instead of showing Cabrillo is a good leader, he includes stuff about how everyone on the ship thought he was the best leader ever and would follow him to the death. I think this is over the top.
