Virginia I read All the Pretty Horses awhile back. I found the story interesting, but McCarthy's style was not my favorite. I guess I enjoy description more than dialog, and as a former teacher, I had to stifle the urge to get a pen and add punctuation.

Helen He gets better with descriptions, but each book's end is so darn depressing. And the very end of hte last book, the epilogue, was unnecessary and a disappointment.
