Michelle i'm interested to know how you liked this. i lOVE Luisa Igloria's work (she's in a lot of journals, has taken a ton of prizes) but don't have a collection of her poems....yet.

Robert Strong work. Post-colonial, a kind of archeologist of her own culture, cataloging words and events. At first I was a bit put off by the extensive footnotes and explanations. But I must admit that I also learned a lot about Filipino history.
