tmll margarine, nut yeast , tofu and the ultimate gut bomb, seitan--such delights are within!! come, children, come! and sup till satiated, and rumble and fart till even your loved ones toss you from the bed.

hm, i type that and i will admit many fond memories cooking from this book with good friends, and a great deal of gastrointestinal woe!! thfpt!

Paul My friend Mary told me that her dad thought that America "had turned its back on butter." I have to admit that I'm not terribly fond of vegan baked goods... Nonetheless, I worked at an underground vegan cafe in Baltimore that served the tofu cream pie from the Farm, and the hummus from the farm, and a bunch of other stuff from the farm, but everyone delighted in the cream-pie, but when people found out how much margarine was in there it was a bit of a scandal...
