it was amazing
Read in January, 2009

This is not a great piece of literature, but, if you're heavily into dogs, as I am (I'm writing a book about dogs vs. wolves and the co-evolution of dogs and humans) you will surely find this an enjoyable read. It's an autobiographical account of Ken Foster's rescue of strays, which, unless you appreciate how much dogs love and trust people, you might not be as moved by a I was --and am. Come to think of it, if you don't appreciate dogs, maybe you should read this and learn to appreciate them. Or, if you must, wait until I finish my book. That will make you appreciate dogs.

S. Murphy Elaine, I'm just reading your review now (in 2012). Did you finish that book? I'd love to read it....

Elaine I'm in the Blog state. I hope to spend the winter writing the book and finding a publisher. My dog blog is

I'd appreciate your comments and criticisms. I have 4 more blogposts to write this week. I've been involved with a huge job editing photos and doing developmental editing. (I take a mss & show how to turn it into a viable book and why changed need to be made). My judgments aren't personal prejudices but are based oninguistic research into narrative and discourse structure.
