This is a cute story that's rather unique that starts a series. Young girl moves to California from New York to start a new life with her mom, her new stepdad and 3 stepbrothers...in a very old house. Which just happens to be haunted, by a male teenage ghost who occupies her bedroom. Turns out our heroine can not only see ghosts, but talk to them and can even touch them. She's a mediator. Her job is to help ghosts to get to the other side, help them move on, but helping them with whatever is bothering them. It's classified as Young Adult (YA) but heroine is approximately 16.
