it was amazing

I have re-read it already. Such a great book although I don't feel that my brain does the characters justice so I also listen to all DeMille books on Audible. Scott Brick is an artiste! DeMille is the best at bringing the cop/FBI/CIA/terrorist thing to life. Add in the surprise character that I never would have expected but LOVED from the first time I "met" him and it is perfection. I wish Al sat next to me....I am always jealous of the co-workers DeMille creates for John Corey. Nothing went the way I expected, which I loved. Genius!

50.0% "This is possibly the best DeMille book but DEFINITELY my favorite John Corey book. Telling you why would cause a long list of spoilers, but it is funny, suspenseful and just amazing. I love that he peeks inside so many different fed/police agencies and procedures without ever getting tedious. Best grouping of characters from the smallest to the leads."
