it was amazing
bookshelves: history, biography-memoir, classic-works

Part personal memoir of the author's experience in the Gulag, part history of the Soviet system of forced labor, this book is not just a great work literature. The Gulag Archipelago stands as the single greatest statement of abject evil of the Soviet Union.
