What can I say, I cried and cried.

Dash is out of the country in the military. He is almost dead and his sargeant is reading him letters. They come upon a letter from a little girl who is fascinated with him. The more she writes him the more his will to live increases. He finally gets a picture of Elizabeth and Cassie. That's all it took. He knew that Elizabeth would be his mate and Cassie his little girl. The last letter he would write is returned and brings him down. Their apartment had been blown up and that's all it took to get him back to the US. His new mission-find his mate and new daughter.

Elizabeth was married to a breed a long time ago (killed). She did not know that he was a breed. Breed offspring are considered prized possession's. Elizabeth and Cassie are running for their lives. People were after her and she really could not figure out why. Dash eventually meets up with them and that's when all hell breaks loose. He will do anything to protect his new family and everything to mark his mate.

There is something quite strange about Cassie that soon comes out that will keep you reading to figure it out. This is one of the best books I've read and cannot wait for the next.
