bookshelves: futuristic, thrillers-crime

You know that when a doctor gets killed, and his life seems to be squeaky clean, that something's going on behind the scenes. Eve Dallas, detective extraordinaire, is suspicious and begins digging into the good doctor's past. The resolution to the mystery is satisfyingly creepy, the banter is good, and Eve's incredibly wealthy husband Roarke gives her a fabulous leather coat which made me long for a fabulous leather coat of my very own. (That has absolutely nothing to do with the book, but it did make leather-coat-longings stick in my head.) Anyway, the best Eve Dallas mystery I've read so far, I think. I've only read about three though, and I'd like to start reading a few more from the beginning of the series now.
