it was amazing
Read in January, 1984

This story changed (or solidified) my entire take on humanity, science, religion, and what it meant to have ignored any one of these necessities. I realized so much of my own self through this tale and the allegorical sense Twain had found in the telling of a town's trouble fitting all of the human condition into perceptive way back in the 1500s.
