it was amazing

A complete picture of a man who was/is misunderstood by most. Great detail on the breaking of codes in WWII for which he is best known, but tying that into his life--from his early years to Cambridge to Bletchley Park to his death--the path of his life unwinds in an accessible way. The author does not shy away from the topic of Turing's homosexuality as others have, nor does he depict it as anything more than a fact of Turing's life. Very enlightening, and I come away with a far better understanding of who Turing truly was, well beyond his biographical accomplishments.
