Sigh. What was the point of the whole debate throughout this book when at the end, apparently none of it mattered and everyone went home happy just for the sake of endearing characters for all groups involved. I put up with all the homosexuality crap and the endless Church defenses thinking it will all be worth it at the end. But it didn't. Jodi Picoult seems to have taken the easy way out which seems unfit for a book that was a page turner only because it seemed the climax would really live up to the topic. I say, this was a waste of time. Period.
