it was amazing

I read this in AP English class in 10th grade. It has to be one of my favorite books of all time. I'm really a sucker for books that I can relate to and while the novel isn't entirely relatable, the characters have their moments. Caddy can technically be the middle child but with 3 brothers the middle child syndrome for her reigns in a little differently. I've basically got a little Caddy character in me just from that set-up alone! Symbolisms galore in this book! I love it for that.
