really liked it

I liked this book because I have often wondered what it would be like to relive my life knowing the things I know now. The heroine, Claire, time travels from Scotland 1945 to Scotland in the 1700's and gets to use her knowledge of medicine and history before discoveries or events even take place. She finds it very helpful, as well as, harmful that she is a nurse because some people think she is a witch. To provide some security and safety in the situation she finds herself in, she marries young hunk, Jamie, and this is where the story really got good. Jamie is smoking hot FINE! Think of Gerard Butler of Timeline, Attila, P.S. I love you...and others. Anyway, this character is intelligent, handsome, funny, honorable, strong...all the good stuff! Couldn't wait to get home from a wedding so I could finish it today. Am anxious to read the next book in the saga. This series may be my Twilight. Guess I learned that I still like "bodice rippers" once in a while.
