Audrey and her insecurities feature heavily in Trying to Score (Assassins #2) by Toni Aleo. Be prepared to be irritated with the first part of this book..but hang in there because it improves drastically.

Audrey is delusional about her love for a guy who treats her like crap and plays on her insecurities, is hung up about the age difference between her and Tate (the very young Assassin's goalie), is waiting for Prince Charming and does not see what is right under her nose. So yes, you will spend a good half of the book shouting at Audrey to get her head out of her ass! The good news is she eventually does and then has to work out some bad karma.

Tate would not be MY Prince Charming...
