Jen helms This book pretty much changed my eating habits - I have given up eating crap and feel great! No more pork, no more red meat, and i am progressively giving up chicken and turkey. I am trying to eat more live, raw food and focus on organic fruits and veggies. I am also trying to cut dairy and cheese from my diet, but that is proving to be really difficult - I Love Cheese! I have also been hitting the gym big time and trying to keep up with the running schedule (so hard in this weather and i am out of running shape!) Maybe we should seriously consider the 1/2 marathon! Anyways, the skinny bitch has a cookbook and i made the eggplant parmesan the other day and it was delicious! So, that's why i gave the book 5 stars! i want to be skinny and they are showing me the way!!!

Jen helms It is a plug for Vegan-ism, which I am not willing to do b/c i love food so much - but they do make a good point on eating fresh fruits and veggies and making smart substitutions for not-so-good-for-you foods - Like using coconut oil in place of canola or olive oil when cooking with high heat. Also, eating lots of raw or live nuts, leafy greens, tropical fruits, and drinking water, water, water! Really it is a nice guideline but I am not following it religiously b/c it's expensive and a little unrealistic for people as active and busy as we are! So, I still eat cheese, fish, and chicken as well as butter and cream with my coffee! So take that skinny bitches! I can't give up my coffee and cheese!!!!!!!
