A loaner from a friend who teaches Spanish and has visited Spain dozens of times, this book was a great companion when I finally visited in March of '08. Tremlett's analyses of terrorism were the most compelling, but I enjoyed the whole thing immensely. He does a wonderful job with history and evoking the era of Franco, as well as the passion of the Andalucians.
