Vonnegut is smart and witty and certainly uses satire to teach us lessons - or at least to require us to do a bit of soul searching about what we believe in. (Or perhaps I should say this is what his book do to me.) I read this recently because a student who loves Vonnegut was surprised that I had not read this one.
