I don't know why I wait so long before I pick up the next book in this series. I always consider it fluff until I start reading it and than I get sucked in.

When I was growing up I wanted to be a cop. Needless to say that didn't happen but when I read about Eve she is everything that I could have wanted to be if it did.

Eve is out with her husband watching an on stage performance at his new theater when she witnesses a murder and things get kind of sticky when most of the suspects are professional actors.

I loved the development of the mystery in this one. I really had no idea who the killer was. It even came as a surprise when the truth was revealed. All in all I have to say that I really enjoyed how everything played out.

The romance between Eve and Roarke was amazing as always and it is always a special treat to see Peabody and McNab twist the sheets!

I really must not wait so long before I pick up the next one!
