Ah memories...
Not particularly fascinating for a teenager to read but when you're forced too... well it sure as hell is better than Macbeth.
And hey, it isn't exactly long, what is it? 80,90 pages. you can get through it in an hour and be wiser for it.
Not Hemingway's best work but obviously his. The only thing stopping this book being half the length is that the old man is old. He likes to slowly look at things. All things. Focus is only on the fish for a very short time. Instead we look at the porpoises and shrimp and think of the boy...
