it was amazing

I actually own the novel format of this book twice over, but I had to buy the graphic novel at the Coles boxing day sale 'cause I'd been wanting to see it for soooo long. I also knew exactly what I would do with this book once I had it in my hot little hands: give it away. This particular copy is being sent to my nephew Derrick, who (I am told) has recently acquired an affinity for comics and graphic novels. Well, kiddo, Gaiman is a GREAT author. I'm sure Derrick will like this book. I certainly did!
Coraline, who likes to explore, has just moved into a very large, old, unusual house. When she discovers a door in their drawing room, even though it's bricked up, she knows it has to lead to somewhere. What follows is a fantastic journey with "the delicate horror of the finest fairy tales" (Terry Pratchett) and is well worth the read!
