** spoiler alert ** I finished reading the book last night, and I’m still not sure how I feel about it. My initial reaction is WOW! SO much happened in this book.

Some areas of the book were abrupt, but in the scope of the huge plot lines this book dealt with, I guess I can understand that.

I’ve been a huge Eric supporter from practically the first book, and think he’s up to something. I seriously think he’s trying to figure out a way to be the man Sookie needs. Pam’s subdued reaction & her remarks at the end of the book seems to back this up. Something HUGE had to be going on with Eric for him not to be there for Sookie when she desparately needed him.

This was such a dark book, but with any series - they can’t all be sunshine & roses. There has to be big events to shake everything up, and I can’t wait to see where CH is taking Sookie next. I really, really, really hope it ends up being with Eric.
