really liked it
bookshelves: read-in-12

I'd love to give this five stars just for the subject matter and Zach Wahls' charm.

Not only do I agree with his central argument and think he's a dreamboat, his points are well-considered and thoughtful. But I think his young age limits his philosophy a little. That's not his fault, but I think a book that stuck more to his experiences (and a chronological through-line) would probably have been more successful.

This would be a great book for bigots, if you could persuade them to read it. I suspect he's mostly preaching to the choir here, though, and so more personal storytelling would have been nice.
