it was ok
bookshelves: fantasy
Read from September 03 to 16, 2012

I really wanted to give it 2 1/2 stars, because it wasn't as dreadful as book 4, but not as good as Game of Thrones or Clash of Kings. The story keeps dragging, there is a lot of fillers and I found myself frustrated at times, especially with Tyrion's voyage, and the Targaryen story line. This book must have been a bitch, as George R.R. Martin states at the end, you can feel the struggle! Am I going to read the next chapter whenever it comes out? Certainly, I am trapped in this story the same way I would get trapped if I watched any soap opera. Cliff-hangers can be frustrating, especially when you have to wait years to find out what happens next... Whenever the next one comes out. Maybe I won't care anymore by the time Winds of Winter is released, but I hope I will because I have come so far in the story. Right now I am just glad that I can move on to the pile of books that has been accumulating on my shelf since I started to read this series, it's been so long! lol

PS: Next time Mr Martin, please choose the title of your book accordingly. Your dragons have been lazy!
