This definitely has an appeal. Good pacing and decent characters keep things humming. Fans of the genre will be pleased, and I hope those wandering in a daze over Bella and Edward will find solace, if not sustenance, here. I'm not fully enthusiastic for some minor reasons. Must Clare so frequently describe things as feline? Do her teen protagonists have to be so completely adolescent? Perhaps I'm being a sour puss, as this is fine 'Demon-vampire-werewolf-magic' fare.
