One of the few books that I didn't leave behind at SEAMEO school or give away to friends, I read this twice through on the plane. Poems are organized chronologically by birthdates of authors. If you want an overview of well-known, often-quoted poems, this is a good choice, sort of a crash course in notable quotables. Title should be "The 100 Best-Known Poems (in English or English translation) of All Time." Some wonderful works, of course.
