it was amazing
bookshelves: nonfiction, biography

One of my comfort-food books. Weir excels at concise, narrative biographies combined with vivid historical detail--the food, the fabrics, the great houses. She also makes a convincing case that Amy Dudley either died accidentally, or at the hand of a surprising (but logical) murderer.
