it was amazing
bookshelves: urban-fantasy, paranormal

** spoiler alert ** This might be my favorite Elemental Assassin book yet. Gin may be a kick-ass assassin but she still has to deal with issues everyone else does. The theme throughout this book was trust which is an issue that pops up in every relationship eventually.
Gin was logical about her lover's ex-girlfriend and yet still experienced normal jealousy without letting it get in the way of her relationship or her logical objective reasoning.
And I don't blame Owen for his stupid thinking. He's a man and well they tend to be stupid about things like this, or anything really. Sorry guys. He didn't have the best thinking about Selina but he did nothing to encourage her or betray his feelings for Gin.
And of course the action was fantastic and consistent throughout the book so we didn't forget this wasn't a chick lit novel.
Bravo Jennifer Estep. Your books are my favorite type of books and I wish I could find others like yours.
