I usually like anything I listen to. I space out at the boring parts. I would give this 2 and a half stars. I didn't like nor dislike it. One thing I absolutely hated was the male voice of the narrator. The narrator was female so the voice was that phoney southern male accent. It was so annoying. Percy Warwick the main male character was the model of the southern male. Please give him another name--Percy--that's the name of a thomas the engine character--so feminine. Mary is the strong main female character. She was before her time--strong, independent married and never having sex--please she just can't be that virtuous. I enjoyed the first part from before World War I till after the Korean War, but the rest kinda slow and boring. 15 cd's were just too long.
