really liked it

** spoiler alert ** Although I haven't read many history books on the United States, I enjoyed this book the most. Each chapter covers a different section of American history from, 1492 to the present. The history is told from the point of view of the people that influenced and shaped the United States. Also, it goes deeper into a few subjects commonly overlooked, such as the Native Americans who settled the United States region first. The book offers a perspective commonly overlooked. Overall, this book is a great way to fully understand the country and understand the history of the people living in it. Zinn does a great job of offering a different, unseen perspective.
