Highly enjoyable read. Plot ticks along nicely and characters are very likeable. I want to join the Thursday Murder Club! Only criticism would be the bits referring to Cyprus and Cypriots. No Cypriot has a name like Turkish Gianni. Turkish Cypriots do not have greek cypriot surnames like Kyprianou either.

Funnily enough they would have a surname like Osman though as most TCs in Britain that came over during the diaspora of the 50s, 60s and 70s carried the first names of their father's as surnames.

It seems like Richard Osman needed to do more research on the matter and not just bung a Cyprus connection into a murder story because it seems to be the island most Brits flee to when escaping persecution from the EU.

Other than that, I really loved the idea of a geriatric detective squad!
