Are you ready for the best gimmick in supermarket literature and a good old mind f*ck? (If you don't know who Richard Castle is skip to the bottom, I'll spare the rest of you from the recap)

This book is a giant piece of sarcastic wild goose-chase filled with cliches and will make you laugh by the pool on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Sex, espionage, crime, car chases, explosions, secret Russian agents in tight pant suits, and the works. The Verdict : For under $2 plus a cold brew, you've got yourself a solid 2 hours of entertainment "guilty pleasure" style. Go for it! We won't tell. WARNING : No literary value whatsoever. Might loose brain cells.

The author of this book, Richard Castle, is a fictional character in the TV series "Castle". He shadows detective Kate Beckette so he can write his crime novels featuring Beckette as "detective Nikkie Heat" in books such as "Naked Heat" where Heat is shadowed by writer Jameson Rook. This lead to Derrick Storm novels. Which has nothing to do with the show but is now written by said FICTIONAL Best-Selling author Richard Castle. Go figure.

Janey I agree with your review :) Except for the last part. Actually the Derrick Storm novels are mentioned a lot in the TV series. It was Richard Castle's best-selling series before Nikki Heat.
