The book is a nicely summarised perspective on Gita. There are many other circumventing stories and mythological concepts that the author has covered. As the author himself points out, this is just his Gita, the way he has observed and perhaps understood Gita and it was a good listen overall.
Just to reiterate, it is neither a translation nor a summary of Gita. It is more of a story and introspection on Gita and Hindu Mythology and Philosophy to some extent. In those terms it has been an insightful listen. It gives you an idea on how could you alternatively look at certain things in the Hindu Philosophy. There are few uncommon (at least were unknown to me) informative points about the mythology and philosophy.
I generally like and follow Devdutt Patnaik hence it has been an affirmative listen but you must consider that before you pick this up.
