it was amazing
bookshelves: cookbooks

Excellent stuff here. My only real gripe with this book, (aside from the hippies, of course) is the proportions are to feed a small army. That's it. Otherwise, this is solid!

Ariana There are certainly some classic go-tos in this book, but a lot of stuff too is pretty snooze. Of course, I cannot argue that it should be in every veg/vegan kitchen. Oh, and the molasses bread, ROCKS!

arcane Keep in mind this was written in the 70's by people living in a commune, for people living in the commune. A lot of this stuff, THEY originated. It maybe 'snooze' now, but it was pretty unique 35 years ago. For example, the hippies at The Farm are the ones who invented soy ice cream.
