Sort of a fun romp through a lot of SFF (including tv show novelizations), where libriomancers can take items out of books, as long as the item is smaller than the book is. A few historical characters pop up, possibly out of some slash fanfic, there's a magical dryad who defies the misogynistic trope she was initially created as (not that she is unproblematic) . . . it's cute and light, a charming book. Ultimately forgettable -- I hope book 2 in the series reminds me what happened in book 1, because I am already having trouble remembering -- but a pleasant diversion.
