it was amazing

A gripping, harrowing account of Greenberg's teenaged daughter's collapse into psychosis. Michael Greenberg shares, with amazing candor, the summer he refers to as Sally's "crack-up". Without flinching, he depicts the guilt, fear, frustration and anguish of that summer. He painstakingly reveals his denial of the serious nature of Sally's breakdown. Any parent of a troubled teen will recognize and empathize with the desire that their child and their own life return to "normal".
