it was amazing
bookshelves: fiction

Wow! Even better than her first novel, "Love Walked In", this is a continuation of the story of Cornelia Brown. Every woman wishes she had a friend like this and every man, who is confident enough, admires her brutal honesty, her sharp wit, and her fierce loyalty. Ms De Los Santos is a major new voice in American fiction and I hope we get to hear from her again and again. She makes every word count and you will want to savor these books. Beautifully written, about characters you will swear you know from these pages. Ms De Los Santos has a knack for expressing the angst of teenage romance without making it tawdry. Her characters, young and old, are fully three dimensional and the story will keep you enthralled. On a scale of one to five, I would give this a rating of sixteen! Five stars isn't nearly enough! Brava!
