[Dis]Connected: Poems & Stories of Connection and Otherwise ([Dis]Connected #2)

A superb collection of poems and short stories written by talented poets. When poets write prose, the emotions are raw and intense, like a punch in the stomach. In this book, poets write a short story somewhat connected to a poem written by another poet. The result is a study of human emotions such as love, loss and hope. Some great examples are The Fourth Saturday by Alicia Cook, Stay With Me by Courtney Peppernell and Beyond the Tree Line by Tyler Knott Gregson. This is a clever way to see how poets manipulate words in the best possible way.
