it was ok

I'll start with positives of this book. It was a cute story - Amelia and Joshua were a cute couple - their efforts to have a relationship were passionate and the story was well written.

It wasn't anything special or captivating though. The story is almost too unreal to hold your attention.

Amelia and Joshua want to be together but she's a ghost, not much you can go on there. His grandmother can see her and wants to exorcise her, lovely right?

The antagonist of the story doesn't really even cause problems... Other then wanting Amelia. She never even really defeats him he just gets dragged away.

In the end Joshua and her don't even come up with a plan or way to be together. It's just ghost and human. What happens when he ages? No clue. What happens when grammy comes to exorcise her? Who knows, not them. What about the fact that Joshua's sister who can see her now doesn't want to? Oh well.

On top of that, Amelia doesn't discover that much about her life. Not a lot of questions answered, so not much a story. It's the thought that counts in this book... It's really a rather sad book too for the most part, with Amelia crying a lot and her father being dead too.
