it was amazing

I loved it! Totally recommended. I couldn't put the book down, and this wasn't fiction but a memoir. The thought that somebody had to go through these extraordinary battles is heartbreaking.
Westover tells us the story of her life, a life so different from anybody else, that only makes us reflect on the privileges we have been given in life. (This coming from a reviewer that lives in a Third World Country. I'm mentioning this because Education is not always dependant on the wealth of a nation, but sometimes it can be narrowed down to your immediate family).
The story is well narrated. Westover writes with detail and lets us see through her eyes her story and her own battles. She opens completely, and in being that genuine it captivates the reader. This is what makes this book so deep and different from any other memoirs.
You should totally read this book, no matter what type of genre you like or don't like.
