I struggle to recommend this to anyone. If someone said they were reading it I wouldn't tell them to stop. But I'd never want someone to think I thought this was a good story to read. Mostly cause I don't think Gilbert's quest was in fact a good story. I mean I loved reading about her days in Italy and her relationships in Bali. And the writing is very refreshing. I just didn't think her spiritual journey was very sincere. Many things I read and hear seem to prove hate or love for this book, I just sit in the middle . . . it was alright.

While reading:
Her writing is pretty entertaining. But the "pray" section was kind of annoying. It took me a while to get through.
